We are a young, Maori group from New Zealand, aged between 15-28. We have 3 youth from the Muckleshoot Tribe traveling and dancing with us. They have lived with us in New Zealand for the past 6 months. It’s been an exciting experience for all.
We travel through the United States, Canada and Hawaii promoting a positive messages: “Be Proud to be Native”, “It’s Cool to Stay in school”, “BE FREE: Drug-free, Smoke-free and Alcohol-free and Violence-free!”
We do this through our Maori cultural dance, hip-hop, sign-language, rap and skits. Our way of reaching the youth of today in a good and positive way!!!
